Heartache is caused by bad experiences, not just by the loss of love. This is one the most encouraging, enlightening, and touching stories I've ever had the honor to read. If you enjoy uplifting novels that portray the story of life's various hard-ships while venturing down the road of perdition, yet hope is still found, this is the story for you. I recommend it for anyone who will appreciate a story with a very meaningful "revelation." It is such an amazing read. The road that should be well traveled in life is the one that leads to SELF-actualization. -JE
Really worthy, quick-paced read! Amazing story, good writing. The two main characters have many disheartening experiences as they grow up and into adulthood, but eventually learn to overcome and in fact, triumph, over those experiences. At times very emotional and sad, but humorous and uplifting as well. The twist at the end leaves you shocked, but with a new understanding. A book you think about for days and weeks after reading. Loved it!
The book carried the life of the person through many tough parts of a busy life. It was throughly enjoyed.
The draft should have been proof-read for spelling and grammatical mistakes. The author revealed her heart but the errors took away from the story, and that is painful. The appearance of the book was great.
